Part 8, 9 and 10: Here we go again!
As of the end of Part 8, we are 14 hours and about 20 minutes in to the 48 hour deadline for level 60. Part 9 begins soon after posting this, and part 10 with perhaps 11 will be later tonight.
Update: Part 10 was a gong show. Between a sudden need to answer the call of nature; and then my ISP shitting the bed… we ended the stream early for that one. A good 15 minutes of that stream is absolute garbage.
Anyways, that’s all I wanted to add on here. Let people who might give a damn know what happened. ISP is sending a technician Tuesday… to do what? I don’t know. Nothing they can really do about it at this point except test the equipment to make sure it’s all working as it should be; which it seems to be. Pretty sure YouTube itself was having network issues, with my ISP possibly being partially to blame. But getting an ISP to do a test on their connection to the main backbone cable instead of focusing on the customers connection is… pretty much impossible. So, technician incoming, and bill credits for myself too.
Update 2: Aaaannnd looks like my Part 10 video was absolutely shot to hell and back again. There is a copy of the video that does work in my studio side; with all the video there. But if you see a 2 minute long video; know that that video is YouTube fucking things up. I’ll do a 3rd update when I have something worth putting here that will show the full video. It usually fixes itself up later when these things happen; but right now it’s going to be a pain in the ass.

Welcome back, anyone who’s been keeping up. Hello for the first time to anyone new.
So, we’ve hit the wall. The wall being that we are not getting 5 levels per 2 hours anymore; due to the decrease in experience per hour we are gaining.
It’s to be expected. Higher levels require higher amounts of experience, and we aren’t exactly doing the highest level quests. So we should maybe be happy with our current 3 level per 2 hour progress? Better than 2 levels per 2 hours at least. Especially since we basically need to be getting 1.3+ levels per hour at an absolute minimum to keep ahead of the pace required to get to level 60 in 48 hours or less.
So long story short is this. We are still ahead of the game, sorta. We also just got ourselves into great cleave area, so we can start getting some decent experience again while progressing the Soulwarden story line. Which we need to do if we want to keep getting higher tier staves to beat back the corruption with during corruption runs and such. (These quests also tend to give more experience, naturally of course.)
The biggest holdback perhaps has been our falling behind in the skinning department. Not being able to skin the high level stuff is making it so we aren’t getting the bonus experience each time we level our skinning. So we need to get that to level 100+ soon, so we can make use of the many tricks of that trade. It’s the same thing for all the other collecting skills. Every time you level one of them up, you get a bonus to your experience gained for your character. So the higher we get all of those the sooner, the better. But that means wasting some time on doing that; instead of pure leveling. As such, I’ve been trying to pace it so that we are at least at the right levels needed for each area.
That’s where I screwed up. We went into Weavers Fen too soon. Should have just stuck to Cutlass Keyes for a bit longer first.
Oh well. Lesson learned.
Another lesson learned is that we need to get a house bought sooner, because the inability to warp around willy-nilly is hurting us now. To surmise this part, it all boils down to the fact that you can reset your warp to your house, if needed; which drastically reduces the potential time wasted by having to run around because the inn-warp is cooling down. Having two houses would make this more ideal since you wouldn’t have to waste time doing the reset either; but that time savings is minimal. It’s like… 5 seconds saved. It adds up, but not enough to waste 5k on.
So, we’re gaining 3 levels per 2 hours now, with the potential for maybe a 4th level if we get lucky I guess. Not such a bad thing really. We nearly got the 4th level happening, but we ran out of time. So that’s at the half way mark roughly, which at least gets us closer to maybe doing 3.5 levels in 2 hours; getting us to the lvl 45 mark in 16 hours time spent. 3 levels per 2 hours at that point means level 54 at the 24 hour mark; and lvl 60 at the 28 hour mark perhaps. If we can push 4 levels per 2 hours, then that fixes that and we will have gotten all 60 levels in 24 hours.
SO, without further adieu; let’s continue.
